Cambridge at NHS

A rigorous Cambridge pathway built around the exam series your child is actually sitting.

For long-term Cambridge learners, internationally mobile families and students who need a structured academic bridge while moving between schools.

Designed for continuity

When school plans are still moving, learning does not have to stop.

A learner can study with NHS while waiting for an international-school place, relocating to or from Kenya, changing schools mid-year, or preparing for a later transfer.

Transfer-ready attendance, assessments, teacher comments and progress reports.
Documented syllabus coverage to support a receiving school’s academic review.
Parent, student and teacher records remain connected through the same Learning Passport.

Important

Transfer support is real. Admission decisions remain external.

NHS provides academic continuity and supporting records, but a receiving school retains the right to decide admission, year placement, subject equivalence and recognition of prior study.

Subject choice

Broad enough for choice. Structured enough for balance.

IGCSE learners may take up to six subjects, selecting no more than two from any one subject group.

Class standard

Never more than 10 learners.

The class-size cap is part of our academic model, not a marketing aspiration. It allows teachers to know each learner, monitor participation and give useful feedback.

Quality assurance

Standards we can stand behind.

Qualified/approved teachers, capped classes, syllabus planning, parent reporting, progress records and remediation of NHS-cancelled paid teaching are standards within our control.

Outcomes

Strong preparation, without false promises.

No school can honestly guarantee a particular Cambridge grade. NHS guarantees the quality standards it controls; examination outcomes also depend on learner engagement and external assessment.
